HONORS AND AWARDS

2001  Award for National Outstanding Young Scientist

THEORETICAL CONTRIBUTIONS

(1)  Discover a fundamental error of Marcus theory. (JPOC, 2013, 26, 271)

(2)  Establish a new kinetic equation.  The new kinetic equation can be used to directly predict the rate constants of various chemical       reactions using only one physical parameter for each reactant. (OBC, 2013, 11, 6071)

(3)  Discover the fundamental errors of the traditional KIE theories and establish a new KIE theory.  The new KIE theory can be used          to not only uniformly explain all the KIEobservations, but also quantitatively predict KIE values of various chemical reactions.   (JPCA 2016, 120, 1779)
