RESEARCH AREAS
The GUO group takes advantage of molecular recognition and self-assembly of calixarenes to engineer new smart biomaterials to achieve precision medicine. Ongoing projects within the laboratory include:

(1)   Inhibition of amyloid fibrillation

(2)   Supramolecular phototheranostics

(3)   Fluorescence sensing for bio-molecules

(4)   Bio-membrane transport activated by calixarenes
